Remodel update

This will soon be my new Jaccuzi tub. Note the color of the walls. The first green we chose didn't turn out exactly like we thought. Geoff said it looked like a muppet had thrown up on the walls. So we picked again and got it right. It's a little hard to tell in these pictures, but it's a very calming green, perfect for relaxing in the tub.
I think our blue accent wall in the bedroom turned out nice also, as did the brown for the rest of the walls.

Our new porch! We decided to leave the beam exposed because we think the wood is pretty amazing: one long beam of pressed wood. My dad cleared the junk off the porch and the kids have been playing outside and loving it. They don't seem to even notice the heat! We have to remind them to come in and drink water, otherwise they would just stay out there and play for hours. We also discovered that the back porch is the perfect place for all the noisy toys. Our new windows don't let in much noise at all!

The blue outside trim didn't turn out exactly as I'd hoped, a little light, but it's growing on me. I'll have to take a picture of the front of the house, too, because they repainted all the trim and it looks so much better than the previous army green. Our front door is blue now, too, which I love.

The new hallway! It's painted now and we all agree it makes the house look bigger. We all really like the brown paint, too, which is hard to see in this photo. Eventually we'll use that color on most of the house.
