She is overcoming her stranger anxiety and will usually go to other people now unless she's very tired. She is starting to clap and will imitate us now. My favorite is having her give us kisses. I'll say, "Give momma kisses," and turn my cheek to her and she'll lean in with an open mouth and touch my cheek. So cute! Slobbery, but cute! She also likes to spit and of course her daddy encourages this by spitting himself so she'll copy him. Hmmm! She will giggle and laugh with any kind of peek a boo game and has started to play this herself by pulling her bib up over her face then down again really quickly.
The above position is how she gets around. I call it the modified commando crawl. She pushes with her little toes, too and she'll leave a trail in the carpet down the hall. So cute!
I love the little mishievous look on her face in the photo above! It's like she's saying, "I'm getting my shoe mommy, what are you going to do?" Those cute little red shoes are actually shoes my younger sister Cynthia wore when she was a baby. They are plastic/rubber and Mina loves to take them off and chew on them.
